What to Expect Today

Today you will explore Cleveland Clinic’s mission, vision, history, culture, and much more! Through a self-guided tour, you will learn everything you need to know about Cleveland Clinic and how to best prepare to get started in your role.

  • Welcome Session Your day will begin with a welcome session where you will connect with fellow caregivers across Cleveland Clinic and receive guidance for the rest of your day.
  • Virtual Learning Courses You will find 4 virtual courses within this experience. In them, you will learn about our Mission, Vision, Care Priorities, Values, History, and locations across the world.
  • New Caregiver Information Booths At the Information Booths, you will find resources related to benefits, recruitment, your experiences at work, and more. You can also schedule confidential one-on-one time with Cleveland Clinic experts to answer any questions you may have.
  • New Caregiver Compliance After completing the virtual courses found here, you will be directed to MyLearning. There you will complete your compliance modules, which must be completed on your first day.

Frequently Asked Questions

The New Caregiver Onboarding Experience (including the compliance modules) takes approximately 6 hours to complete. You should complete the day one orientation and compliance modules by 5:00 p.m.
Compliance module login information as well as directions on what to complete will be provided once you complete the orientation component.
Please complete the New Caregiver orientation session (to include the compliance modules) on your first day of employment with Cleveland Clinic. The expectation is that you will complete it by 5:00 p.m.
Directions will be provided to login into MyLearning. In this system, you will complete your new caregiver compliance modules. The directions will outline which modules need to be completed.
You should try your best to complete all compliance modules on day one. If you can’t, your manager should give you time in your department to complete all of your required compliance modules as soon as you report to work.
If you do not complete your onboarding your Human Resources Business Partner will follow up with your hiring manager to ensure your compliance.
Upon completing the New Caregiver Onboarding Experience, please reach out to your assigned manager for reporting information if you have not received information from them.
You do not need to take this onboarding on a Cleveland Clinic issued computer. This orientation can be completed on your personal laptop, tablet, or cellphone. We recommend using a desktop or laptop using Google Chrome.
Pay is either bi-weekly or bi-monthly. Depending on when you start in the pay cycle will also be a factor and you may receive a paper check in the mail for your first paycheck. Please reach out to your manager and they will be able to tell you when your first pay is.
Yes, your hiring manager should be meeting with you during your first 90 days of employment to check in, answer questions and gather your feedback.
Your manager will provide you with your Cleveland Clinic email when you physically report to work.
You will be given your network login when you report to work. You will need to login on a network computer and will not be able to do until you physically report to work.
